David D. Cates

David D. Cates

President and Chief Executive Officer

Mr. Cates is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA, CA) and holds Master of Accounting (MAcc) and Honours Bachelor of Arts (BA) degrees from the University of Waterloo. Mr. Cates has extensive expertise in the Canadian and international uranium mining industry from over a decade of senior management and financial experience in various roles with Denison. Mr. Cates was appointed President & CEO of Denison in 2015, having previously served as the company's Vice President, Finance & Tax and Chief Financial Officer. Prior to joining Denison in 2008, Mr. Cates held positions at Kinross Gold Corp. and PwC LLP. Mr. Cates also serves as a Director of Denison, and is a Director of each of the Canadian Nuclear Association and SkyHarbour Resources Ltd. (TSX-V: SYH).

Elizabeth Sidle

Vice President Finance & Chief Financial Officer

Ms. Sidle joined Denison in 2016, advanced to the position of Vice President Finance in September 2021, and was appointed Chief Financial Officer in December 2023. Prior to joining Denison, Ms. Sidle held various roles at Ernst & Young LLP, including serving in the firm's National Accounting and Assurance Group, where she was tasked with advising on complex financial accounting issues and transactions. Ms. Sidle has extensive experience in financial reporting under IFRS and has acquired substantial experience within the resource sector during her time with Denison and through her exposure to multiple large Canadian mining companies while practicing in public accounting. Ms. Sidle is a CPA, CA and holds a Bachelor of Science from Queen's University and a Diploma in Accounting at Wilfred Laurier University.

Kevin Himbeault

Kevin Himbeault

Vice President Operations

Mr. Himbeault has significant operational and regulatory experience, with over 25 years of diverse involvement in the mining industry through consulting and operations management. In previous roles, Mr. Himbeault has been responsible for substantial improvements in mining and processing facilities, to ensure sustainability of operations, and has successfully facilitated environmental assessments in both the uranium and diamond mining sectors. During his 18-year career with Cameco Corporation, Mr. Himbeault led the Key Lake Operation through multiple relicensing processes and spearheaded the development and approval of the environmental assessment for the Key Lake Extension Project. Prior to joining Denison in 2021, Mr. Himbeault most held the position of Operations Manager at the Key Lake mill, where his responsibilities included senior management leadership for plant operations (including uranium processing, site infrastructure services, maintenance, and automation initiatives), as well as oversight of the development of safety, health, quality, and radiation protection programs. Mr. Himbeault holds a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Toxicology from the University of Saskatchewan.

Geoff Smith

Vice President Corporate Development & Commercial

Mr. Smith brings to Denison extensive experience in capital markets and the mining and resource sector, having previously served as Managing Director in the Global Mining & Metals group at Scotiabank. Mr. Smith holds an Honours Bachelor of Commerce from Queen's University and is a CFA charter holder. Mr. Smith also serves as a Director of EMX Royalty Corporation (TSX-V: EMX, NYSE American: EMX).

VICE PRESIDENT HUMAN RESOURCES

Ms. Smith was appointed Vice President Human Resources in 2024, having previously served as Denison's Director, Human Resources and Director, Internal Audit. Prior to joining Denison in 2007, Ms. Smith held positions at Centerra Gold and Imperial Oil Ltd. Ms. Smith has extensive and broad experience in the resource sector, having held senior management positions in the fields of Audit, Accounting, Marketing and Human Resources. Ms. Smith is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA, CMA), a Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) and holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a concentration in Organizational Behaviour and Human Resources Management from the Lazardis School of Business & Economics at Wilfrid Laurier University.

Chad Sorba

Chad Sorba

VICE PRESIDENT TECHNICAL SERVICES & PROJECT EVALUATION

Mr. Sorba is a Professional Geologist (P. Geo) with nearly two decades of experience in Canadian and international uranium exploration, evaluation, and development. Mr. Sorba was appointed Vice President Technical Services & Project Evaluation in 2024, having previous served as the Company’s Director Technical Services. During his tenure at Denison, Mr. Sorba has led numerous projects, including Denison’s flagship Wheeler River project, from discovery through to various levels of technical assessments, and has evaluated numerous uranium projects for their economic potential, supporting several of Denison’s past asset acquisitions. Mr. Sorba is a key technical leader of the Denison team that is pioneering the use of the ISR mining method at certain high-grade uranium deposits in Saskatchewan, including the design and implementation of a first-of-its-kind ISR feasibility field test, which was successfully completed at the Company’s Phoenix deposit. Mr. Sorba holds a Bachelor of Science (Hons.) in Geological Sciences from the University of Saskatchewan, Canada, is registered with APEGS and CIM, and is a Qualified Person in accordance with the requirements of NI 43-101.

Janna Switzer

VICE PRESIDENT ENVIRONMENT, SUSTAINABILITY & REGULATORY

Ms. Switzer joined Denison in 2020 and was appointed to Vice President of Environment, Sustainability, Regulatory in 2024. Ms. Switzer has over two decades of experience in the resource industry, including 15 years of experience in uranium mining and exploration. She has navigated Federal and Provincial approvals within a complex regulatory environment, including the successful permitting of the first-of-its-kind Wheeler River ISR feasibility field test. Prior to joining Denison, Ms. Switzer led environmental assessments for the Millennium Mine Project and the Rabbit Lake Tailings Extension with Cameco Corporation and held a senior advisory position with Rio Tinto Exploration within the global Communities and Social Performance department. Ms. Switzer holds a Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of Alberta, is a certified Project Management Professional, and is a member of Métis Nation-Saskatchewan.

Amanda Willett

Vice President Legal and Corporate Secretary

Ms. Willett joined Denison as Corporate Counsel and Corporate Secretary in 2016 and was appointed Vice President Legal in 2020. Prior to joining Denison, Ms. Willett acquired nearly a decade of applicable experience as a securities law associate at Blake, Cassels & Graydon LLP in Vancouver and a corporate and securities law associate with Stikeman Elliott LLP in Toronto. Her practice focused on advising public and private companies on matters including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures and securities offerings. She has been involved in a broad range of transactional and corporate governance work for companies listed on the TSX and the TSX Venture Exchange, with an emphasis on advising companies in the mining industry. Ms. Willett graduated from York University in 2007 with an LL.B. from Osgoode Hall Law School and an MBA degree from the Schulich School of Business. She is a member of both the Ontario and British Columbia Bars.

Andy Yackulic

VICE PRESIDENT EXPLORATION

Mr. Yackulic joined Denison in 2020 as Director, Exploration and was appointed to Vice President Exploration in 2024. Prior to Denison, Mr. Yackulic spent 12 years at Cameco Corporation in various roles, and led the exploration team that discovered the Fox Lake uranium deposit, which was successfully advanced from discovery to a published resource estimate in 2 years. From nearly two decades of exploration focused in the Athabasca Basin region, Mr. Yackulic has acquired extensive experience with various geologic models for uranium mineralization and is skilled in efficiently managing and directing greenfield and brownfield exploration projects. Mr. Yackulic holds a Bachelor of Science in Geology from the University of Saskatchewan, is a member of the Association of Professional Engineers & Geoscientists of Saskatchewan (APEGS), and is a Qualified Person in accordance with the requirements of NI 43-101.

David Bronkhorst

Technical Advisor

Mr. Bronkhorst is a seasoned mining executive with over 35 years of experience in base metals, gold, and uranium mining. Mr. Bronkhorst served as Denison's Vice President Operations from 2019 until his retirement in 2022. Prior to that, he held the position of Vice President, Mining, Projects and Technology at Cameco Corporation, which involved responsibilities for conventional mining operations in the Athabasca Basin region in northern Saskatchewan and In-Situ Recovery (ISR) mining operations in the USA. During his 16-year career with Cameco, David also served as the General Manager at the Rabbit Lake Operation and the General Manager of the McArthur River Operation. Through his experience at Denison and with Cameco's various mining operations, David has acquired unique senior level expertise with both conventional and highly specialized uranium extraction techniques. David is a graduate of the Mining Engineering program (1981) at Queen's University (Kingston ON, Canada) and is a member of the Association of Professional Engineers in Saskatchewan (APEGS). He has served as a director for the Saskatchewan Mining Association (SMA) and continues to support the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) as an expert in uranium extraction methods.
